<p>Can you imagine a trip to Beijing without eating Peking Duck or a journey to London without trying out Fish and Chips, assuming of course that you are not a vegetarian? There are certain dishes that are inextricably connected with specific cities and no journey to that city is complete without trying out some, if not all, of them. Boston is a city that dearly loves its food and there is a multitude of restaurants where you can get delicious foods from all over the world. However, there are certain dishes that you simply have to try because of their connection with the city.</p>
<p>The dish that is perhaps the most commonly associated with Boston is chowder. This seafood soup is a prized delicacy and it is available in many places because locals and tourists alike order it. It is a tasty and filling dish, so you should order your entrée accordingly. You should also try out Parker House Rolls, dining at the Omni Parker House Hotel if necessary because this is where they were invented. Boston is known as Beantown because this food is very popular here, and you should therefore try out the baked beans that many restaurants serve. Even Boston burgers are quite different from the ones served elsewhere, with the patties being a bit thinner.</p>
<p>There are many Boston restaurants that serve excellent desserts and you can choose from a huge selection of Italian desserts at the various restaurants here. However, you cannot truly say that you have experienced this city unless you try out a Boston Cream Pie to complete your meal.</p>
<p>You will not have to look too far to find Boston restaurants serving these dishes. However, it would certainly help if you found out beforehand where you can get the tastiest options. The internet can help you find out where to get the food you wish to try out.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">More and more athletes are returning to one of the oldest tools in the gym to improve strength, conditioning, cardio and coordination. The kettleball may have originally began with Shoulin monks who used what they called a “stone padlock” to build strength thousands of years ago. The more common <a href="http://www.exerciseball.net/">kettlebell</a> we have today was first in use in Russia nearly 400 years ago. Today the US Secret Service and FBI Counter Assault Team use kettleballs to keep their agents in shape.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Unlike expensive bikes and treadmills, <a href="http://www.exerciseball.net/fitnessball.html">fitness balls</a> are fairly cheap and are the size of a cannonball with a handle. Any place could easily be used for a workout, from a small bachelor pad, to a park or parking lot. Since they can be used indoors, there are no excuses for bad weather or lack of time to get in a quick 12, 30 or 45 minute workout. The technical points of what types of workouts to incorporate or actual technique can be found on millions of kettleball-dedicated sites or videos on youtube. While reading and seeing how to perform the exercise is good, nothing beats taking a class or having a personal trainer to work with you at least in the beginning to make sure your stance and balance are correct. Especially as you being using heavier weights, improper form may result in injury. A certified personal trainer can also customize routines based on your particular needs and fitness goals. The <a href="http://www.exerciseball.net/gymball.html">gym ball workout</a> a basketball player goes through is very different from an elderly golf pro or a person who wants just to gain muscle mass or lose weight.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The basic movements employed while using the kettleball, including the swing, snatch, and the clean and jerk, engage the entire body at once that mimics real-world activities such as shoveling or farm work. Many beginners will perform kettleball exercises while seated on an exercise ball, focusing on upper body work and getting that perfect, then progressing to standing which requires upper and lower body coordination.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The exercise ball is also used by kettleball enthusiasts to help develop balance. In general, weight loss programs for the kettleball will stress high repetitions (over 20) and high number of sets (over 3) using a lighter weight. People looking to build mass/muscle will be using a heavier weight for fewer sets and reps. Workouts should be 2 to 3 times a week, ideally for 45 minutes, though if your schedule doesn’t allow a full workout, it is best to do at least something rather than skip. People that have a tendency to skip one workout will eventually skip another and soon be in even worse shape than when they started.</p>

<p>People wanting to lose weight and get in shape, keep making the same mistakes over and over again. I have seen my very own Orange County Gym clients make the very same nutritional mistakes. When it comes to losing pure fat, you have to do a few things right. Most of all, you must eat the right kinds of foods.</p>
<p>I want to share with you some nutritional tips that will have you dropping those unwanted pounds faster than you ever thought possible. There are certain foods, disguised as healthy foods, that you must avoid at all costs if you ever want to get a lean and tone body. Since becoming an Orange County Gym Coach, I have discovered a variety of foods that make you fat.</p>
<p>To begin, you must avoid all tv dinner foods. I don&#8217;t care what they say on the package, &#8220;Healthy Choice&#8221; or &#8220;Lean Cuisine&#8221;, they are all unhealthy foods that are disguised and marketed as healthy foods so you will buy it and the big corporate companies will make huge profits at the expense of your health.</p>
<p>Second, you must avoid all soft drinks, especially diet sodas. I bet I surprised you with that one. Diet soda contain saccharin, which over the long term, interferes with your endocrine system, thus causing you to gain weight. Do not drink any diet sodas or consume any drinks that contain artificial sweeteners.</p>
<p>Third, you must also stay away from dairy foods. Milk does not do a body good. The only milk that is meant for human consumption is your mother&#8217;s breast milk. Dairy foods, except for free-range chicken eggs, thicken the skin and cause damage to your body. Also, traditional milk has been pasteurized and is totally unhealthy for humans. Most people will become lactose intolerant later in life due to the over consumption of milk. Many of my Orange County Gym clients could not believe this at all when I first told them. But, it&#8217;s true.</p>
<p>Last but not least, do not consume any wheat products. I know this one is a shocker. My Orange County Gym members could not believe this one either. You see, wheat products contain a chemical called gluten. The consumption of gluten causes you to retain estrogen, a female hormone. When this happens, you will hold a ton of excess water, causing you to look puffy and incredibly bloated. This will eventually led to gaining fat. One of the worst products is wheat pasta. It&#8217;s ok in small moderation from time to time, but be sure you don&#8217;t consume too much of it.</p>
<p>As you can see, these are foods that many call healthy foods. But, they really are not. The big corporate food manufacturers want you to believe that these foods are healthy so they can make a fast buck. If you want to be healthy, try to eat foods in their most raw and natural state. That is the same thing I tell my Orange County Gym clients. And don&#8217;t forget this, if the food comes from a manufacturing plant, then it is totally unhealthy for you. But, if the food item comes from a plant, then it is totally healthy for you.</p>

<p>Here is a review of some of the things that recipes don&#8217;t tell you about cooking meals at home:</p>
<p>•    Variations in ingredients or potential substitutions<br />
•    Variations in measurements or how to handle mistakes in measuring<br />
•    Variations in different oven and stoves and their varying temperatures<br />
•    Variations in time or how to tell EXACTLY when the meal is cooked<br />
•    Why you are taking the steps that you are being asked to take so you can make educated decisions</p>
<p>In fact, recipes are best used as a guide for cooking meals just as a musician uses sheet music as a guide for playing music. But if you think about the musician that reads sheet music, they already know how to play an instrument and they can bring the sheet music to life. In the same way, in order to bring a recipe to life, in many respects, you already need know how to cook or at least understand several different cooking methods.</p>
<p>Have you ever heard a cover version of a favorite song? This happened to me recently. I happen to be a fan of Counting Crows and their song, Mr. Jones. Someone else had reinterpreted the song and was singing it as though it were a poem. I was upset! It just didn&#8217;t sound the same, but obviously, the musician had put his own spin on it and it may sound great to him and his fans.</p>
<p>So, if you understand how to cook and how to use recipes as an inspiration for your interpretation, you can overcome the things that the recipes don&#8217;t tell you about cooking meals at home. You&#8217;ll have power, strength and confidence to make the recipe come to life in your personal kitchen culinary vision.</p>
<p>Here are some ways to use recipes to your advantage:<br />
Ingredients – Become familiar with families of ingredients so you can make substitutions. Here are a few examples:</p>
<p>•    spinach for escarole<br />
•    carrots for daikon<br />
•    ostrich for steak</p>
<p>Measurements – forget measurements, cook by how the food looks to you and how it tastes. In your desire to complete the dish as the recipe defines it, you are being distracted from the art of cooking, from enjoying and developing your kitchen culinary skills. Remember, the cookbook doesn&#8217;t know your kitchen, you do. The recipes doesn&#8217;t know how you like your meals to taste, but you do. So take back control and stop measuring.</p>
<p>Variations in oven temps and times – forget about temperatures and times. Even if you&#8217;ve already cooked the recipe at your mom&#8217;s house or your best friends house, you can&#8217;t rely on the stated temperatures and times. Your oven may be 25 degrees warmer. Instead, use your eyes. Look for visual cues (quantify your cooking): the coagulation of proteins, the caramelization of starches, the evaporation of moisture, the reduction of sauces, etc.</p>
<p>Why you are taking the steps you do – how do you overcome this? Learn basic cooking methods like sauté, steaming, poaching, roasting and grilling. By understanding the nuances of these basic methods, you will be able to look at recipes as a particular method or combination of methods. In this way, just as the piano player hears the melody and attaches their own interpretation, you will begin cooking at home from recipes that will have everyone (including yourself) believing that you are a kitchen culinary master!</p>
